From Saturday 10th September 2022 we are changing our session times at BoA pool.

3 pm – 3.45 pm will be for Rookie Bronze and Silver groups

3.45 pm – 4.30 pm will be Gold groups.

Who Are We?

We are a voluntary Lifesaving and Lifeguard Club, affiliated with the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS).
Our aim is to promote water safety, resuscitation and first aid, lifesaving and lifeguarding skills to all ages from 8 years old. We have no upper limit!

Where Do We Meet?

We meet at Bradford on Avon Swimming Pool every Saturday at 3 pm for 49 weeks a year, closing only over Christmas.

What Programmes Do We Follow?

RLSS Rookie Lifeguarding – this is for children aged 8 – 12 who are confident in the water and can swim 25m.
RLSS National Lifesaving Academy – this is for children aged 12 – 16
National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ) – this is a formal lifeguarding qualification for people over 16

We offer a free trial for your first week before you make any commitment

Competitions

We actively participate in regional and national competitions so interested members train each month for these

Brownies and Guides

We support the community and have assisted over 200 guides and brownies to obtain their Water Safety badges in recent years.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
